INTRO TO MEDICAL BILLING AND CODING

The Medical Billing Program provides the student with a wide variety of study in the medical field that includes a combination of theoretical and practical training. Upon successful completion of the program graduates can pursue a career in billing from home, and entry level positions with doctor's offices, hospitals, governmental agencies and private insurance companies. Upon completion of 325 hours the student will receive a certificate. The Curriculum is 325 hours 6 hours a day/ 30 hours a week! 12 weeks/ 1 quarter full-time, 4 hours a day/ 20 hours a week/ 17 weeks/ 2 quarters part-time, and 5 hours a day/ 5 hours a week/ 65 weeks/ 6 quarters Saturday. Classes are taught in three modules. Classes are taught in lecture format classes where the instructor leads the group through the same content and material at the same time. The program is taught with a residential delivery and in English only.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

NLBI’s Medical assistant program prepares the student to perform both administrative and clinical tasks under the direction of a physician. This career focused program is 1200 hours including internship, provides training in clinical Laboratory and administrative skills. This will maximize the students potential in today’s competitive job market. We train you step-by-step and most importantly we have hands-on-training that prepares you for the real world. A student selecting this program will be able to obtain and entry-level position as a medical receptionist, medical biller, medical coder, medical assistant, patient educator, or a clinical assistant. A career in Medical Office Assisting also opens the door to other exciting careers such as Physical Therapist, Medical Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant and more. Upon completion the student will receive a certificate of completion. The curriculum is 1200 hours. Full-time enrollment in this program is 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 42 weeks, 5 quarters. Part-time enrollment consist of 4 hours a day, 20 hours a week, 5 days a week, 63 weeks and 6 quarters.
